Your private, full-day Arrábida tour begins with a drive over Lisbon’s 25 de Abril bridge en route to the Arrábida ridge.
Albufeira lagoon
Stop to visit the Albufeira lagoon, a popular spot for kayaking, kitesurfing, and windsurfing. You’ll also visit the largely unexplored beach at Praia das Bicas, and take in the views of the ocean from the cliffs above, with the Sintra ridge in the background.
Cabo Espichel
At Cabo Espichel you’ll visit the sanctuary and church of Nossa Senhora do Cabo and the aqueduct, and then make a brief stop to see the dinosaur footprints.
Sesimbra Castle
Head up to the Sesimbra Castle and take in the views of the fishing village below. Your driver will then take you into Sesimbra, a fishing village located on a calm bay, where you can enjoy fish and seafood of exceptional quality and take a walk along the breakwater near the beach.
Portinho da Arrábida
You’ll make your way down through Portinho da Arrábida to an idyllic white sand beach at the mouth of the Sado River. Enjoy a climb up to the top of the ridge to marvel at the incredible views! To the north, you’ll be able to see the entire city of Lisbon and the surrounding mountains, and to the south, you’ll have views of the crystal-clear blue sea, islets, the Tróia peninsula, and the city of Setúbal.
