Discover Canoeing at the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park
Explore the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park, nestled within the stunning Arrábida Natural Park, with over 30 years of expertise from our team of highly qualified specialists in kayaking and adventure sports.

The bays of Arrábida are the perfect setting for kayaking. Enjoy a magical experience surrounded by the wild beauty of Praia dos Coelhos or the breathtaking beaches of Galápos and Galapinhos. Stretching to Praia da Figueirinha, this area forms one of Europe’s most beautiful bays, located between the picturesque town of Sesimbra and the city of Setúbal, just under an hour from Lisbon.

Your adventure begins with a safety briefing and an introduction to your guide and kayaking equipment. You’ll then enjoy a learning session to master kayak handling before heading out to sea. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to stop at the famous Ilha da Anicha for optional snorkeling, observing the vibrant marine life up close. Equipped with flotation aids and a paddle, you’ll feel like a true explorer as you navigate the crystal-clear Atlantic waters and discover hidden caves and secret beaches along the coastline between Portinho da Arrábida and Praia de Alpertuche. At the end of your journey, you’ll return to the starting point for a debriefing and to share the highlights of your day.

This experience is perfect for beginners and experienced adventurers alike. Enjoy it solo or with friends, family, or your partner. It’s ideal for birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, school trips, or corporate events — accessible to everyone.
