- 8:00 – Pickup in Lisbon and the drive to Sintra.
- 8:45 – Monserrate Palace, ticket included: the palace and its botanical gardens, one of the quietest and most beautiful estates in Sintra.
- 10:30 – Sintra historic centre: the old town, the National Palace square and the local pastries. Optional extra monument here if you want to add Pena or Regaleira (tickets at the entrance).
- 12:30 – Free time for lunch in the village.
- 14:00 – Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe.
- 15:00 – Guincho Beach and the coast road to Cascais: marina, Boca do Inferno and the old town.
- 16:00 – Return to Lisbon; drop-off around 16:30.

Is the price really per group?
Yes. €250 covers the whole group of 2 to 6 people, all ages, for the full day. It is the best value of our Sintra tours for families and small groups.
Which monument is included?
Monserrate Palace, with the entrance ticket included. Pena Palace, Regaleira or the Moorish Castle can be added on the day with tickets paid at the entrance.
Why Monserrate rather than Pena Palace?
Monserrate is far less crowded, the gardens are extraordinary, and it leaves time for the coast. If Pena is a must for you, add it or choose our Pena Palace and wine tasting tour.
Is lunch included?
No. There is free time for lunch in Sintra and your guide will recommend places.
Can we be picked up in Cascais or Sintra instead of Lisbon?
Yes, anywhere within 30 km of Lisbon, Sintra or Cascais at no extra cost.
