Your private, full-day Arrábida tour begins with a drive over Lisbon’s 25 de Abril bridge en route to the Arrábida ridge.
Albufeira lagoon
Stop to visit the Albufeira lagoon, a popular spot for kayaking, kitesurfing, and windsurfing. You’ll also visit the largely unexplored beach at Praia das Bicas, and take in the views of the ocean from the cliffs above, with the Sintra ridge in the background.
Cabo Espichel
At Cabo Espichel you’ll visit the sanctuary and church of Nossa Senhora do Cabo and the aqueduct, and then make a brief stop to see the dinosaur footprints.
Sesimbra Castle
Head up to the Sesimbra Castle and take in the views of the fishing village below. Your driver will then take you into Sesimbra, a fishing village located on a calm bay, where you can enjoy fish and seafood of exceptional quality and take a walk along the breakwater near the beach.

We leave Lisbon towards Fátima Sanctuary, one of the most important world sanctuaries and the place of the apparition of Our Lady of Fátima to the three little shepherds.
After a free time stop in the place, we’ll continue to Batalha to visit the wonderful Batalha Monastery. This Monastery was built by determination of King D. João I in thankfulness to Our Lady for the victory at the Battle of Aljubarrota.
Afterwards we will visit Nazaré, a charming and typical fishing village with good regional restaurants and beautiful beaches. This is also the favourite destination for surfers and where the record for the world’s largest wave ever surfed took place.
We continue our journey to the historic village of Óbidos. This village of singular beauty is situated inside ancient medieval ramparts of the XII century. Its narrow streets, the tiles, the white-painted houses, and the ramparts are a scenario not to be missed! So, don’t forget your camera!
Returning to Lisbon, you’ll have the opportunity to appreciate the typical Portuguese rural landscape.
