- 8:00 – Pickup at your hotel, apartment or the cruise terminal in Lisbon. On the 35-minute drive to Sintra your guide goes through the options with you and locks in the day’s plan.
- 8:45 – First monument of your choice, before the coaches arrive. Most guests pick Pena Palace or Quinta da Regaleira; tickets are pre-booked when you add them at checkout.
- 11:00 – Sintra historic centre: the National Palace’s twin chimneys, the narrow lanes, and a stop at Piriquita for a warm travesseiro.
- 12:30 – Lunch where you prefer: a tasca in the village, a fish restaurant on the coast, or a picnic your guide sources from the market.
- 14:00 – Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, with time on the cliffs and at the lighthouse.
- 15:00 – Coast road past Guincho Beach to Cascais: the marina, Boca do Inferno and the old town, or a wine tasting in Colares instead if you added it.
- 16:00 – Return to Lisbon; drop-off around 16:30 (8 hours in total, adjustable on the day).

What’s included in the Custom Tour of Sintra price?
The base price (€132.50 per adult, €68.90 per child) includes your private driver/guide, bottled water, and pick-up and drop-off, and covers stops at Sintra village, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais.
Can I add Pena Palace or other monuments to the tour?
Yes. You can add one or more monuments as paid extras: Pena Palace (€26.50), Quinta da Regaleira (€28.62), Moorish Castle (€18.02), Sintra National Palace (€16.96), Monserrate Palace (€19.08), Queluz Palace (€19.08), or a wine tasting experience (€31.80). Each add-on may extend the tour beyond the standard duration.
How long does the Custom Tour of Sintra last?
The standard duration is 8 hours, departing at 8 a.m. Adding monument visits can extend it.
Is entrance to monuments included in the price?
No. General admission and a guide inside the monuments are not included, except for whichever monument you add as a paid extra.
Is this a private tour, and can I customize the itinerary?
