Colares
A stop in Colares in the cellars of Adega regional de Colares to have a tasting of the best regional wines.
The cooperative winery at Colares (Adega Regional de Colares) was founded in 1931. It congregates today more than 50% of the total production, with an important social role in the region. Its beautiful building dates back to the late of 19th century, with an imposing interior housing wooden barrels, casks and vats totaling more than 1 million liters capacity. It is the maturing and aging place “par excellence” for the wines of this appellation.
Azenhas do Mar
Next, visit Azenhas do Mar, a coastal village in the municipality of Sintra with a very picturesque landscape. Next, make the short drive to Praia da Maçãs, a well-known beach with golden sand and clear water. Locals typically visit to spend time at the ocean as well as the near-by saltwater swimming pool.
Cabo da Roca
Discover the most westerly point of continental Europe, Cabo da Roca. From the cliff tops, enjoy the fantastic view of the beaches and the sea.
Guincho Beach and Cascais
On the way back, you will have the chance to enjoy Guincho, a beach that serves as a real sanctuary for surfing and windsurfing. Finally, visit the charming town of Cascais, former royal getaway. In modern days, it has become more touristic given its boutiques, restaurants, and hotels. Once your tour of Cascais is complete, your driver will begin your journey back to Lisbon.

What is included in the price?
Pickup and drop-off anywhere within 30 km of Lisbon, Sintra or Cascais, your private driver-guide for the whole day, the vehicle, tolls, parking and bottled water, plus the wine tasting. Lunch and personal expenses are not included.
How long is the tour and when does it start?
About 8 hours door to door, starting at 9 am from your accommodation. Timing can be adjusted when you book.
Are monument tickets included?
No. Tickets are paid at the entrance of each monument and your guide will tell you the prices before you decide; we can pre-book them if you tell us your choice when booking.
Is lunch included?
No, so you choose where to eat; your guide will recommend places at different price points.
Can children and non-drinkers join the wine tasting?
Yes. The visit is as much about the estate and the region as the wine, and juice or water is provided for those not drinking.
Can we change the itinerary?
Yes. It is a private tour: tell your guide what matters most to you and the order and timing adapt to your group.
